i was 16.
we used to hang out at this dusty little arcade near our school, cheap sodas, broken joysticks, and that one rhythm game we always sucked at together.
i didn’t know it back then, but that was the first place my heart ever felt full.
then i messed up.
i cheated on her.
not because i was a player, but because i was a dumb kid who didn’t know how to value what he had.
i broke things off before she found out, but i think she knew. girls always know.
she never talked to me again.
that silence shaped me more than the breakup ever did.
it taught me regret. taught me guilt.
but more than anything, it taught me how to love.
and how to let go.
this album is called “this is what letting go sounds like.”
it’s all instrumental, lo-fi hip hop, sad, lonely, but somewhere in there… healing.
no words, just emotion. maybe some of yours too.
