Why is the uk so humid?!

Idk, I’m bored and literally melting so here’s a rant abt things being hot :)

I swear it’s so hot here like I’m just trying to go about my day when all of a sudden I feel like I’m in the middle of the Sahara desert, like help, I live in Scotland it’s meant to be like cold or smth, but instead I’m casually turning into a puddle.

Also why is it so humid, like genuinely why am I getting all 2 recommended litres of water from taking a breath.  I just want to leave my house without immediately turning into a pompom, like I spend half my lifespan trying to straighten my hair only to step outside and end up with some ratty suirrtail attached to my scalp :(
