the plot twist is absolutely hilarious (keep in mind it's dark comedy). you could find a quick summary of the plot anywhere on the internet but the way the novel is written, even how palahnuik used the chapters to strengthen his story-telling, is genius. interesting. and honestly? not so suprising considering it's palahnuik. of course there are some messages to be understood and heavy criticism, but the funny aspect comes off stronger imo. it's a good book and not the author's best, so i'd recommend you meet him with his best-seller Fight Club.

i've read gone to see the river man and meave fly. gtstrm was great and i was quite impressed, but i cannot say the same about meave fly. it came off as.. tryharding? for me.
