Random Game blog daily || Day: 1

alright so i got a shit ton of retro games, like way too many, and i barely play any of them. So i decided to start a blog where i just randomly pick one and play it! Im hoping to meet people through this and make friends or smth so yeah!

Todays game: King Arthur, for the gamecube. Released on November 18th 2004 this game is based on I believe the King Arthur Movie released the same year. 

The game opens with this cool opening scene, it details the story and i guess sets up the plot. Then after starting up a new save you get thrown into another cutscene, in live action which im not sure if it takes from the movie as i have never seen it, but eventually it has this very nice transition into the games graphics. Basically we have to stop these savages from hurting our bishop. They slowly get more and more annoying as all my other fellow soldiers just do jackshit, so im left to ward them off myself. The bishop is no help either, why is he the important one. probably gotta do with some religious crap but as we all see i am way stronger and cooler by killin all these savages. Eventually after tons of waves the level ends and its cot all these stats you can upgrade which is pretty neat. 

The next level is these people on horseback who im pretty sure are going to escort the guys, we have to ride through and kill more savages and kick down these big wooden doors. This level was my first death as healing stuff is wayyyy too scarce and idk if its me feeling sick or the game just being really boring but at this point i got off of it. 
Im sure this shit wouldve been fire back in the 2000's but goddamn was i just bored sitting there alone killing guys.

Overall the game isnt the greatest, but it isnt necessarily a bad game! Maybe I should give these games more time before writing, leave ur thoughts in the comments!!!
