You looked for danger. And now it’s looking back.
They warned you.
In stories. In dreams. In that gut feeling that made your breath falter the moment I walked in.
They told you not to fall for the girl with wildfire eyes
and a mouth made for promises no mortal should believe.
But you didn’t listen.
You chased the shadow.
And now I’m in your head, under your skin, and wrapped around your need.
You thought you could handle darkness.
But you didn’t realize—
I am the reason darkness has a name.

Okay wow, this one gave me chills. That last line, insane!!! You really have a way of making danger sound beautiful and addictive. Your writing always hits something deep , KEEP WRITING 🤝💐

I sought danger.
And found it staring back.
They tried to warn me.
Telling stories of a girl.
No.
A beast.
Of whome stalked nightmares.
But my gut did a flutter.
For it was not a beast who stole my breath upon enter.
They told me not to fall for the girl who's eyes shone to brightly to look in.
And a that spoke nonsense so there was no point to listen.
But I didn't listen.
I followed the girl.
Her words fill my head, not with nonsense but knowledge.
My face gets flush each time I witness her beauty.
Im rejoiced with bliss when im being held in your embrace.
I thought before, I could handle the darkness.
But I never realized--
Just how scary the darkness was, and that you were the reason it existed.
But that was only because you where are the light.

Yo this is actually so good. The way you mirrored her vibe but added your own twist, especially that ending, “you were the reason it existed, but that was only because you were the light”, gave me chills. It’s crazy how her words can pull something this raw out of people. Mad respect, funkyloofah
