late night thoughts or smth idk

it's currently 12:39am and i've just been sitting in my room for the last few hours doing little but write a story that i kind of think sucks and lowkey might discard. idk, i've gotten really serious about writing but haven't exactly written anything compelling or anything that particularly connects with me. the last time i wrote something like that was in the beginning of this year when i went absolutely demon-time on making a nearly 400-page-long AU of my friend's lemon demon fanfic, but i reached a burnout of sorts around mid-april. i long to write like that once again, especially now that i have more time on my hands being that it's summer, but idk i guess the muses aren't looking out for me. 

maybe what i really need to do is reassess my life, and observe all of the small things and smush them all together to create a mega-story of sorts. it's what all the best writers do (i'm lookin at you, don hertzfeldt).
