Because they'll only use it for their aesthetics, while not understanding or while misconstruing its nuances, ruining anything that it originally stood for.
It irks me when I hear people talk negatively about Skinheads as a whole, as if they where always a racist group, when it was more of a working class punk sub-group that had been taken over by racially hateful people. Then some ignorant people will double down on Skinheads always being racists when the group originally hung out with Rudeboys, young Jamaican immigrants. Skinheads that saw racists using their subculture also made S.H.A.R.P. (Skinheads against racial prejudice) as a reaction to it, and will refer to those bigoted Skinheads as "Boneheads".
To quote black metal ytber Brutus Bathory, "Wanting to brood in a dark frostbitten forest isn't inherently 'fash'. If you're into black metal, we all want to do that fucking shit! The difference being who you do or don't want to allow in that forest with you." (good vid btw)
I'm not trying to say that groups can't be inherently bigoted, because there definitely are (KKK, proud boys, and the previously stated boneheads). Just that if someone is trying to take over something to instate wickedness where it doesn't belong, DON'T LET THEM. More people need to understand nuance in a world where people are quick to dismiss others who "say too much". Annoyed the fuck out of me whenever my mother would try to tell me to "get to the point" when It's a much serious issue then she wanted to believe.

There's a (perhaps unfortunately) timeless phrase for this. Nazi punks fuck off. If they've lost their way or dont know any better, educate and point em towards the right path, otherwise you make it clear they aint welcome and let them rot.
Also eeyyy, rep for our boi Brutus. He's a good lad.
