I was asked last Monday to fill in on guitar with the cover band CRASH! on Friday July 11. This will be very cool, as it's going to be an outdoor festival, part of the Summer Concert Series in Nanuet, NY!

Last time I played in NY was last November.

Well, that was NYC. This is "upstate" NY. How edgy!

The band does its standard typical cover songs but when you put me on guitar, I like to make things a tad heavier and a bit more interesting. But still keep the integrity of the music. I see too many musicians stick to formula. That will never be me.

And this is the first time in eons where I have to tune down a half-step. So I took my blue 7-string, sent it down to Bb-standard, and VOILA! Ready to go.

Adapt or die.

Simple as that.
