i have questions for fellow spacehey members

hi all, if you have a dni list or know about people not wanting to interact with certain fandoms on spacehey, i'd like to ask a couple of questions because i'm out of the loop

if you got some time and willing to explain a few things, i'd like to ask a few questions:

1. "thin ice" in dni lists -- what the fuck does it mean??
i've tried looking around for answers on this already but i can't seem to find anything that tells me what this means?? it seems to mostly be a list of people who barely get away with interacting with people, for some reason?? it seems to just "if you're one of these, you might be blocked because you're crossing a thin line between ok and not ok"????\

2. for anybody who do not like/interact with fans of certain shows -- why?
i've seen this a few times with south park and want to know why people have south park fans on their dnis??
i mostly get the idea of this, some people watch stuff by creators who are morally awful so i kinda of see it with shows like helluva boss and glitchtale, but like why south park..? is it something about it being popular on tiktok, fans generally being obnoxious, people misunderstanding the point of the show etc? something about what goes on in the show? i'm a little lost

Regarding pushing away people who like certain shows or media, it could be that they generalize people who are a part of certain fandoms to be problematic. As someone who thinks otherwise, I don't see any reason to deny fandoms some interaction when there are bigger factors that have actual impact on who I make connections with.

However, it could also just to help keep connections in check. Why bother having to think about someone with one or many inconsequential factors when they can look for people with only what they want? Not only does this keep the connections amount low, but they spend more time reviewing people who are more likely to be of interest anyway. I not sure how likely it is considering that you would need have this specific idea though.

1. From what I know, its basically what you said in quotes

2. Maybe because some find the fans immature and strange as I think theres a massive wave of younger people becoming interested in the show and applying “modern” trends onto it.

1. yeah i figured but had to be sure. it seems to just be a list of people who can interact but might get blocked depending on how they handle interactions or something (maybe about "if you like it because x, you will probably get blocked" being a hidden message, idk how to explain it), just had to be sure it meant what i thought it did

2. figured it was this too because tiktok made a lot of "modern" trends, i fall completely outside of this considering i'm basically outside of the fandoms of the stuff i enjoy and i watch it for the full content (usually) and not just a clip or two, i'm probably safe here
i def get people viewing the fanbase as immature and strange, a lot of good media i like seems to be a victim of this, especially anything tiktok touched so i'm not surprised at all

thank you for giving some insight!
