Direct to the point title. I am indeed in desperate search of my audience and I want to form my fanbase. For context, I've had it hard (like really hard), I come from a country whose populace is not familiar nor interested with the genre I invented (or even the ones I based it upon) so my music gets totally ignored in the local scene. Even my friends in real life barely support and notice my works because, simply, they do not relate nor understand my sound and therefore, they don't care or appreciate my artistry. I haven't known a single soul with a similar music taste as mine, even my best friend's vastly differs from mine. Well, anyway, I am Velkxis, a Filipino musician. To be candid, I decided to capitalize on spacehey since it is unsaturated in terms of user count and I love how it is truly reminiscent of the fallen myspace, which used to be the nest for indie artists (along with soundcloud ofc). In addition, I made the major decision to establish my spacehey profile as my main website, portal, and platform for my artistry. I just love how customizable it is (Check out my profile :>) which further reflects my persona with a few tweaks of html and css to work my magic.
I'm trying to find like-minded people. I want to find friends based on my music taste. I desire a weird fanbase and we will form a community with people I can jive and vibe with.
My music taste: dead or alive, crystal castles, pastel ghost, mareux, and one, army of lovers, modern talking, fancy, kraftwerk, depeche mode, new order, colony 5, chrom, beborn beton, john the whistler, sydney valette, linea aspera, alice deejay, hante., icon of coil, lebanon hanover, divine, she wants revenge, she past away, the notion, molchat doma, french police, geometric vision, double echo, magic de spell, vollny, clan of xymox, ultra sunn, bambi, smile.dk, machinista, stacey q, bananarama, sad lovers & giants, eddy huntington, duran duran, albert one, michael bedford, sandra, shannon, bauhaus, alphaville, ladytron, magazine 60, kim wilde, elegant machinery, etc.
I want people to reupload my music as much as possible so it will spread across all different platforms (like youtube, instagram, facebook, etc) but mainly I want my songs to ravage and trend on tiktok (I don't really like TikTok but I hope my songs get extremely tiktokified so I don't have to wait 13 years to blow up as an artist). All my songs from my debut album sounds really great when slowed. Especially "The Witch In Me" and "Lovers In Denial". It is also worth mentioning that the 3rd track, "Send Me To Asylum", has the strongest dream-pop/dreamrave influence, very pastel ghost coded.
Please take the time to listen to my album. It is a 7-track LP that explores themes of mental health. My lyrical compositions stem from my life experiences, majorly focusing in the past as opposed to present times. I am publicly pitching my album. My genre is Hi-NRG darkrave.
It is heavily influenced by Hi-NRG, Witch house, and darkwave. It is driven by distorted, obscured, and excessively reverberated vocals inspired from Shoegaze with more focus and emphasis on the instrumental design than lyrical flow, prioritizing the music over vocals, making the genre an element of rave music. I made my own genre up using these fusions.

spacehey is for making friends, not collecting fans
spacehey's goal is to emulate myspace, myspace was a popular network for indie artists and collecting fans alike along meeting new friends. I don't see the problem.
