Teenagers used to be anti-conservatism, now they are conservatism itself.

This will be written in a somewhat haphazard, lifeless way, but it's because I want to talk about two very annoying situations that are happening to me, and mention some things about alternatives and conservatism.

I'm going to start by talking about alternatives on internet

REMEMBER: THIS IS NOT AN OFFENSE TO ANYONE!

_

Alternatives used to be people who were not afraid to free themselves, people who went against the laws of the system. The concept of alternative means to go against, to have another answer or remedy. But over time, this term lost its meaning because of conservatism and MAINLY the romanization that the internet has.

on the internet? alternative is just a way of dressing, ignoring all its politics and history behind it. I'm not saying that to be alternative you have to study 24/7, but my point is that alternative people have stopped being themselves and have just become fashion trendsetters.

And the worst part, in real life? Conservatism reigns, because it was mainly conservatism that reduced alternative to fashion. So you'll get bad looks, people insulting you, and A LOT of prejudice.

I'm sorry my dear, but not everyone will be the same as a standard practice.

These days I started to notice that every time I go to school, people look at me really badly and two girls who bully started to look at me and I'm seriously afraid that they'll start to bother me

But bothering me just because of who I am? That's not fair.

That's why I say, teenagers IN GENERAL today are walking conservatism. I feel that being an alternative nowadays is much harder than it was in the past, where conservatism even being stronger, the alternatives still had a voice to shout against society.

So to all the standards out there who believe that being alternative is just a way of dressing or worse, please improve.

I hope this blog reaches more people, I really want to spread my opinion around, but it probably won't reach anything.

But ok, the important thing is that I finally managed to say what I had been keeping to myself for a while.

I can say that about so many other things. like yeah, we've gotten more better at being nicer and more understanding but we've also gotten LAZY. boycotts? only lasts for a couple of weeks. protests? it's a one and done situation. people do it for the trend and never agin. adults are getting complacent with prices rising and taking right away? what about abolishing the government? what happened to that?? it pro because that's the world I want to live in. people who aren't afraid to actually DO something about the bad things in the world.

not only does that apply to politics but with media and our social society. people are making rules and confining love into something that's not? what the heck is a situationship? a honeymoon phase? what happened to yearning, infatuation?

movies and companies are taking every last bit of our money and everything that we like but what do we do? we keep running back. Netflix gets rid of shows that they KNOW people watch, but nobody speaks up. they suffer with complaciveness. we suffer with being lazy and expecting convenience all the time. it's infuriating to see passion and desire gone from people's eyes

the rise of ai, "clean girl" styles, modernism, millennial grey. I hate it all
