THRIFT ADVICE!!

Hello!! I’m Discoandeyeliner and I’m here to give you some advice on thrifting!

I’ve been thrifting for about eight years, second hand shopping is my way of being able to have clothes + saving money.

Shops I’d recommend are shops like the Salvation Army, local small thrift stores, or even flea markets/swapmeets.

I don’t include goodwill in my list of thrift stores because of how expensive goodwill is.

When going to a thrift store, items I look out for are belts and jewelry. Always look for belts! They’re a great styling item, especially jewelry!

When getting clothes, make sure it’s clothing that you will absolutely 100% wear. When some clothing aren’t worn anymore and thrown away, the clothing ends up in a landfill (very harmful to the environment.) you can always donate your unwanted clothing for someone else who needs it ^_^

When you see a top that’s so cute but ripped, you can always alternate it or sew it back together! It’s very easy.

Also, make SURE to wash your clothes after thrifting. Some clothing may have lice, parasites, unpleasant odors, and etc.

When shopping at swapmeets or flea markets, do not skip out on the jewelry, you can get so much for so little.

I bought 70 pieces of jewelry for $9, greatest deal of my life♡︎

REMEMBER: prices are different for so many different thrift stores!
