grahh I hate how manipulative all of this is...encouraging people to spend hundreds on useless cheaply made items by constantly shoving sales and advertising in people's faces, items that will only end up in the ocean anyway, now it's fine to buy useless crap from time to time, if you don't support child labor by doing it that is.
I wish that my mom wasn't so addicted, she's constantly buying dirt cheap clothes off temu, hell they're so thin they'll probably rip after 1 use, plus they look like garbage
anyslays...i just don't get it, i know that money doesn't grow on trees but like, buy actual clothes?? you'll be better off spending more money for clothes that actually look good and are practical

my mom is a shein fein, and my closet is getting infiltrated by it. I have to keep telling her that, NO. I don't want the 100% polyester shirt that has butterflies and "girl power" on it...
and yes, I've found myself buying from SHEIN from time to time. I'm not innocent. but idk why I still tried with clothes and accessories. every single one of them ended up being disgustingly poor quality and unusable. and it's like??? why do I even bother?
I learned my lesson though
