My Hamster Named Charlotte

It's a sudden thoughts for getting a hamster for me. It's so sudden like i'll even describe it as a "blink". But it happens the last month when i brought her (yes a girly dwarf) from my local pet store with all her stuff which cost me barely under 50 bucks with cage and food and bedding stuff. Which i think it's in my expectation. Lain decided to name it "Charlotte" because we were talking about novels in that time. It's a funny name for it yet somehow suits her since she's acting curious all the time. She's been with me in my room for the first week because she need some time to fit in the new place. That's how my hamster's home the first week as the picture shown below and you can see she's hiding under the paperbox i prepared. Well it get's pretty well and i play with it sometimes. The only problem recent is my dog. I don't know if my dog was nuts or something but she keep looking and stalking my hamster. So usually i place Charlotte's cage in the living room on the table and things just normal...until my dog find out the hamster. It has been sitting on the chair and stare at the cage for almost the whole damn day and moaning. I don't know is my dog getting jealous or it thinks the hamster is a "pet" for her. I once brought the little cage for putting the hamster on the ground and prevent her to gone away in some kind of corner of the room. But ends up my dog got too excited and almost turn my hamster in to jam by chasing it. So i will never let my dog near Charlotte again. Well at least thing goes pretty well right and Charlotte been willing to play with me sometimes. I will have futher images in the coming post of Charlotte due i can't see much the gigantic image blocking my sight.
