Thoughts on Translating The Name

Translating The Name - Saosin

This one is newer to me. Don't know all the words and whatnot yet. I have a deep love for it already though. 

Strengths: Anthony Green's writing, regardless of band, captivates me every time. It's almost annoyingly intricate and each word seems to be chosen with intention. Not that I really know what the inspiration truly was. Paired with the unique instrumentals, it feels like they captured lightning in a bottle.

Weaknesses: With all of the changes they've gone through over the years, it's hard to say this feels like the same Saosin as any future release. The only reason that really feels like a weakness is that this, being an EP, makes me want more of what they had in this iteration of the band (assuming it would have been of the same quality). Maybe I'm wrong and need to listen to self-titled again. 

This record is hard to express feelings about for some reason so take this with a grain of salt. I'm just a dude in his apartment so I'll leave the real good reviews to the people who know more.
