A few things I've learned traveling before 18.

So, I'm 17, and I've already been to four countries, lived in two, and now I'm just waiting (not so patiently lol) to move to Europe. And let me tell you something real: It hasn't always been easy, but it's so worth it.

If there's one thing I've learned through all this, it's that with effort, self-love, clear goals, and determination, you can do so much.

Sometimes it feels scary, overwhelming even, and yeah, there are moments where you feel totally lost. But if you move forward with love for yourself and your dreams, every step becomes part of something amazing.

And if you're thinking of traveling-whether it's for vacation or to actually go live somewhere- Do it. Don't wait for the ''perfect timing.''  There will always be fear, always be excuses. But what's waiting for you out there? Growth. Freedom. And a version of yourself that you haven't even met yet.

Now a real tip for anyone traveling for fun:

Please don't waste $300+ on those organized tours where they tell you what time to wake up, where to eat, what to see, and how long you can enjoy something. That's not a vacation- that's a schedule in disguise.

If you can, buy your own plane ticket, book a hotel or a place to stay, and just.. explore.

Walk around, Take the metro. Look up cool spots or hidden gems. Talk to locals. Let yourself get a little lost (in a safe way lol). The feeling of waking  up and deciding for yourself what you want to do today? It's unmatched. You get to go where you want, stay as long as you like, and see what actually interest you.

Every city has a secret side you'll only find when you're not being rushed or herded around like a tourist.

So yeah- It's hard sometimes. But possible. You don't have to be rich. You don't have to be older. You just need courage, intention, and a little planning. And believe me; if I can do it, you can too. The world is big, and you deserve to see it.
