I have realised, my phone is making me go insane, I have been
addicted to it from 15 to 18 (now) so i'm making a digital detox plan.
.switch instagram reels, yt shorts, c.ai and tiktok for- pintrest, netflix, spacehey and apple music.
.watch more tv shows and movies insted of youtube videos and scrolling
.start watching content that make me happy insted of brainrot- skateboarding videos, vlogs, journaling, language vlogs
.play more games like just dance and animal jam
.read fanfics online
.spend more time on spacehey than other social medias
.try real life hobbys- play my ukulele and bass, practice sign language, skateboarding, read comics, watch movies, drawing, etc
try and go on my laptop more than my phone (phone is easy to just pick up and doomscroll whenever, laptop is harder to do that)
give me any helpful tips you might have

irl hobbies and videogames are what did it for me. i still have high screentime, but dont browse brainrot or ragebait anymore because im locked tf in on splatoon and fortnite. and its a bit of a social activity if you find people you can play with and voice call!
yeah i have been trying to play more online games and stay away from c.ai and tiktok and stuff. its been helping, i have been spending more time on spacehey and animal jam inested lol. I also have been teaching myself to skateboard and that has been a good help to distract myself from social media

My piece of advice is read a novel with a story you could enjoy. In my experience when I read a novel that whole quick dopamine content became so irritating to me that I can't help but to close the app
