how I almost got jumped yesterday

so my friends and I like looking thru abandoned buildings in the Chicago area. we found this factory in Freeport that has like 5 stories and a really easy way in. I was literally such a skinny queen that I fit right thru the gate and didn't even have to jump it.

so anyway, one of my friends and I got inside the gate and we were walking thru the alleyway between the two main buildings, shining our lights thru windows and looking at the creepy basement and shit. soon, we get to the main entrance at the end of the alley, and just as we're making our way in, we hear a feminine voice shout at us, and we could hardly understand what she even said. At first we thought it was our getaway driver yelling at us to come back, but not even a minute later we heard glass break a few floors up, followed by two gunshots.

needless to say, I never run so goddamn fast in my life, but luckily I think those were warning shots, cause neither of us got hit. we got back to the car and just sped off, but deadass I thought I was boutta die in the dumbest way imaginable, but hey, life's all about risks yk?

anyway, we called the cops after that and they were chill, they looked around the building to find whoever did that, but idk if they actually arrested anywaone, cause we had to get going since it was like midnight and we were all low-key tired asf after that.
