🧍‍♀️sml rant because i literally can't anymore

i don’t care if this makes people mad. i genuinely don’t. sml sucks now. like it’s not even a debate. the channel is just gone. and if you still watch it unironically, i’m sorry but you’ve either never had taste or you’re pretending for nostalgia’s sake.

the quality is garbage. not even talking about the video resolution or whatever. i mean soul. there’s nothing left in it. it’s so obvious they’re just pumping out these lazy, predictable, lifeless scripts with the same tired voices and the same 3 characters doing the same 3 things over and over and over. you can feel how much they don’t care. the episodes are literally just noise now. the same way reality tv is noise. filler. something to play in the background while your brain shuts off.

jeffy ruined everything. i said it. that character is a walking headache. no personality, just yelling, fake “edgy” humor, and diaper slapping like it’s supposed to be funny just because it’s loud. it’s not. it never was. and yeah i watched it back then — that doesn't mean it wasn’t trash even then. it’s just worse now. somehow.

the worst part is how forced everything feels now. they’re clearly just trying to keep the channel alive for money. like you can tell. there’s no creative energy. no spark. just long, drawn-out "plots" where nothing happens, the characters act like literal NPCs, and the endings always cop out with some lazy "just kidding" or reset like it's a sitcom from 2004.

it’s not funny. it’s not clever. it’s not even bad in an entertaining way. it’s just empty. and no, saying “well it’s for kids now” isn’t an excuse. kids aren’t stupid. they deserve better than this brainless, recycled junk.

old sml wasn’t perfect, but at least it had some edge. some weird charm. now it’s all cleaned up and boring and soulless, like they scrubbed it down with bleach until it looked like every other trashy "family channel."

idk. i just hate seeing something that once felt raw and messy and kinda fun turn into this plastic, watered-down garbage for clicks. stop pretending it’s still good. it's not.
