Demon’s Dream: An Unexpected Love by elle kayson

I was not ready. I WAS not ready. I WAS NOT ready. I WAS NOT READY! My goodness, this book…this book…this book. First of all, chokehold. I had been hearing whispers in the street about this character named Demon…Demon, huh? Interest immediately piqued (the whispers in the street were from my best friend, who read this 700+ page book in a matter of two damn days…get the picture now?). So, I’m thinking…I GOTTA READ THIS BOOK! And babybeeee it did NOT disappoint. Now if you’re an Urban Romance girlie, you should know this book GAVE IT UP, okayy! Sex, drugs, mayhem, and then love – the perfect recipe for a BOMB book. Oh yeah, the book…centers around Demon and Dream. Perfect strangers, turned forced lovers (yes, you read that right), turned real lovers, turned soulmates, turned EVERYONE’S GOALS. There’s just one thing, Demon Montana is bat shit crazy, literally. The clean up man for his organized crime family, Demon has not a loving, intimate, romantic, caring bone in his body ... .until he meets Dream Castle. The virgin daughter of a boss. Brilliant and beautiful, sis finds herself between a pickle and a hard place. Promised to Demon for 30 days (no because I said the same thing when I read it)...shit hits the fan. Now, you may have missed that tidbit about it being 700+ pages (750 to be exact) – which had me skimming and flipping through closer towards the end….which is most ways had nothing to do with the authoress and everything to do with the fact that the book was just long as hell, and ya girl is a Neurospicy baddie..okuurrr. But the comic relief and dry humor is everything. The character development was dope. And I’m glad elle kayson made this a STANDALONE! So babes, if ya’ll want a book filled with sexy thugbaes, high paced drama, giggles, and….shit talking grandfathers (random, but truly one of the highlights of the book) – grab your popcorn babes, you’re in for the ride of your life. 

…..honestly, I miss Demon already (lol).
