Some of these seem to be already stated in different wikis but I don't read those so ¯\(°_o)/¯. It's more fun to find these out yourself! Some of the translations are a bit wonky but don't mind that... Part 1, part 2 and part 3
Kumajirou's English name (or what it would be if he had one)
>About Canada’s pet bear Kumajirou, why did he give him that name? I just can’t help wondering why he has a Japanese name even though they are in Canada.
You’re right, it’s a very obviously Japanese name, isn’t it lol. If I change it to an English one, his name would actually be Will-bear but Canada might accidentally call him things like Tom-bear, Ben-bear, Tim-bear, or Sam-bear…

Himaruya thinks Turkey has the best body
>In Hetalia, you get all sort of body type such as fat(?), buff, lanky, stocky, etc. In your point of view, Hima-san, who has the nicest body??
Mr. Turkey…

Romano is nice to female tourist but what about male ones?
>In Romano’s introduction you wrote
“He’s prickly in front of other countries, but he’ll be nice to you if you’re a tourist or a neighborhood friend or something,” but would he still be nice if the tourist or neighborhood friend was a male?
If a tourist was male, he’d still be modestly nice.
However since the man would be his rival in getting ladies’ attention, he’d side-eye him and do something irritating.

Magical Strike Fairy vs Britannia Angel
>If Magical Strike Fairy and Britannia Angel got in a fight, who would win?
Magical Strike Fairy is just a bearded Frenchman, so he doesn’t have the skills to stand up to Britannia Angel, who’s using a time and space transcendence cheat code.

Reasons behind glasses
>Among the countries, there are characters who wear glasses and characters who don’t. Do you decide who wears them and who doesn’t based on your inspiration?
There are countries where the glasses were completely by my inspiration and countries where the glasses have a meaning.
America becomes a hero when he takes them off, so it’s a prop to show you he’s normally disguising his power (the trope you see a lot in American cartoons where a boring glasses-wearer has a hidden identity of a superhero. America himself feels like a hero even when he’s wearing them though) and they also have a meaning as part of his land.
Austria’s glasses are music. He looks a bit plain when he takes them off, so he doesn’t do it very often.
Estonia has a lot in his mind, so the glasses play a role in concealing his facial expressions.
The more I draw Thailand, the more he looks like my Thai friend who I used as a model for the character. He laughed hysterically when I showed him.

Similarities between Prussia and Sweden

Prussia and Sweden.
Do you know who’s who?
Two countries with a lot of type A blood, who love dogs, and are hyper-vigilant only in strange places.

Himaruya is a FrUk supporter (based)
>Whom does England like better, Germany or France?
They are old friends so if he should be paired up with someone, I would say it’s France.
But he wants to hit them both sometimes.

International language (somewhat) confirmed
What language does everybody in Hetalia speak?
You mentioned the differences between British and American accents, does that mean they speak English?
They do use various languages on different occasions, but I think there is also a language that only they understand.
Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to interact with those who were just barely born and didn’t yet have any contact with other countries and outer world.

Alfred F(uck) Jones
>What does the F stand for in Alfred F. Jones?
According to my first note, it seems like Foster.
But I wrote a lot around it, like Franklin and F*ck,
the mystery of F deepens and deepens…

Mochis can melt apparently
>Do the mochis melt and droop in the heat?
Italy mochi is more wobbly than I expected, and it seems like he would melt right away, so I’m just a little bit worried. He might end up as slime…
Would the warmer country mochis be unfazed?
I guess this will happen nevertheless when it’s hot…

Canada drives a tractor
>So considering Canada is the way he is, does he have any boyish hobbies?
He also enjoys ice hockey and lacrosse. On his days off, he likes to drive a tractor!

Austria's mole
>It’s sudden, but Mr. Austria’s mole near his mouth,
does it have some sort of significance like his curl=Mariazell??
It’s a similar thing to Italy’s curl. [T/N: That is, “the sexual something of the Italians”; an erogenous zone.]
Which reminds me, I looked at the data in Austria and it’s a rather amazing thing, I was quite surprised.

There was supposed to be Vatican City character
> How do you treat Rome’s Vatican City within Hetalia?
The Vatican is an annoying old man that hangs around Italy, and he’s been around since the beginning but I’ve never gotten a chance to let him appear.
My notebook is filled with sketches of Vatican’s face!

Hungary has a dad?
>The Frankish Kingdom that was later devided into three parts, is that what used to be little France? Or did it exist just like mama Greece and grandpa Rome, as a different character?
I still couldn’t decide whether I want to make Francia appear or not, but in case I do, France too would have something like a parental figure, so maybe I should.
List of ancient nations
--
Magyar:
A man carrying a distinctly oriental atmosphere that hates Byzantium. It was him who taught Hungary how to fight.
The fact that Hungary is using a rather male language is his influence too, as she was raised to be like him.
According to legends, he and Hun were siblings, but the details are unknown.

Metalhead Finland confirmed (I used Google translate for this one)
>ところで、ヘタリアキャラの中で歌のうまい人とか下手な人とかいるんでしょうか?
> By the way. are there any Hetalia characters who are good at singing or bad at singing?
イタリアとかフランスとか上手いと思います。
あとスウェーデンとフィンランドが意外とロックでパンクでメタルかもしれません。
I think Italy and France are good. And Sweden and Finland might be surprisingly good at rock, punk and metal

Latvia either can't get drunk or he has an extremely good alcohol tolerance
> I was reminded by SeaLat, but Latvia is also strong with alcohol…
What would happen if Latvia gets drunk?

Veneziano and Romano sharing country duties
>I just thought, we know that Northern Italy goes to world meetings, but how about Romano? Do they go together or how does it work?
For a while, Romano took the initiative and was going to most meetings, but lately he leaves it to Veneziano and only appears when he’s in the mood, which isn’t very often.

Body types
>The cool-looking characters in Hetalia generally seem tough, but I wonder if it’s my imagination.
Since I’ve been practicing to be able to draw muscles, I’m really happy that you said that they’re tough and cool-looking!
Solidly built: Germany, Greece…
Considerably: Turkey, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands…
Thin but have muscles: Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong…
In actuality, a strong man: Finland
After that, Russia is big-boned. Korea is softly muscular.
As for America, because he’s still young, he is not brawny even though he has muscles,
and I am doing my best to draw him so he has the muscle level that gets a reaction such as “hey man, nice muscles~.”

So this is why Switzerland didn't end up as a girl...
>You know, somehow I wanted to see Switzerland as a girl…
To say the truth my first image of Switzerland was a girl with braided hair, but then I saw pictures of Swiss people going grocery shopping with a gun, and it slowly changed into his current personification.
Perhaps when it comes to it I’ll consider braids.

America's hobby is archeology
>I remember in a character setting while back is that America’s
hobby is archaeology, but did he actually mess with Greece or Egypt’s garden?
Or is he going to continue his endless pursuit for a dreamlike land called Canada.
In reality they actually did mess with their gardens lol.
I think he loves things that tickle his adventurous spirit.
Even though from the start America’s hobby is archaeology
and shooting guns there aren’t much scenes that he does so,
he might be quite happy going to Africa in the
Comic Birz series about the North African Campaign.
America’s such a country with guns that there is a person who
made a living by hunting with guns and after they grew up they
started a show with his talent of guns and became famous,
so America’s must also be good with guns!

What happens when you spend too much time around a nation
>Do Hanatamago and Pochi live as long as the countries? Or do they have usual lifespans?
Hanatamago and Pochi are both normal dogs, but their lifespans get longer because of the strange timeline of their owners. If they get separated, their lives continue as they would with a regular dog. Kumajiro too is supposed to grow into a huge and impressive polar bear.
If a normal person would be close to the nations like Pochi for a longer time, their perception of time would get so warped that they could eventually lose their mind.
By the way, I couldn’t decide whether to make Kumajiro a speaking stuffed toy or a real polar bear, and then I saw a picture of a polar bear happily frolicking through a private house in Canada. A real polar bear it is, then!
https://www.hetarchive.net/blog/2013/09/18/blog-entry-1397/
There was also a mention of Prussia being left handed but I lost that one :(

Motya
love/hate that ive seen people pass off some of these as original headcanons. had no idea they were from hima. damn
International language is a pretty common headcanon but it is probably because you would automatically assume that they have something like that for convenience and not many are scrolling through Hima's blog all the way to entries dating back to 2008 to conform this assumption XD

for some reason, himaruya loves dropping interesting bits of lore that would be perfect for worldbuilding then just never expands on them,,
Himaruya has never had much interest in worldbuilding XD. Worldbuilding seems like a hard thing to do and maybe Hima thought that he could get away with not doing much with it because Hetalia is a comedy and not a story driven thing.
