Animal farm is a great book, it's good for beginners and it's a good representation of how the world is today. And it is easy to read and the point is pretty straight forward. But the meaning behind it is very ironic. George Orwell was an anti communist who worked for the British intelligence. He had told the government about possibly over 35+ people who could've sympathised with communist. But animal farm itself was a perfect representation of how capitalism is. The characters are forced to work hours and hours a week(us working class people) while the pigs (Borugueis) had a house specifically reserved for themselves. Lying about the rules and denying what had been written. Letting go of what had always been for their comfort and lowering the quality of things for a quicker buck sounds a lot like what happens when capitalism is in rule. Of course a true communist society has never been truly achieved without someone trying to interfere. Napoleon acts very similar to Trump, he focuses on his pleasures most of the time rather than working to make his country a better place, his cult members have been blinded by believing that what they had hated as always been and good for them. All animals are equal but some are more equal than others very well describes how all of us were taught that we should all be equal has humans yet still we are silent for the fact we're forced to pay to live If we aren't filthy rich.for instead of breaking frfee and questioning why we were made to live in such a lifeless cycle we obey and accept. That those who are higher will be more human and worthy of rights than any of us are. For only the ones with the currency that man has made that runs our lives are allowed to live and enjoy life for what it is supposed to be because they have been blessed with the fact they could become rich. For be coming ethically rich is only a dream and for everyone who has has had their heart ripped out of their bodies to ensure they won't think twice about harming those who are meant to be human. The free market is a lie and private companies only try to get quicker money rather than caring about all the other humans that have the unfortunatncy of being stuck in such a system where they are seen as another dollar. We are made to believe that this is on our nature as humans for a society to run this way but in reality it's just man's greed letting loose and tying us all up to a tree, forcing us to make into paper and not allowing us to live without it. How we were meant to live is erased and man's desires took the lead.Â
This is my first time publishing something like this, please correct me if I'm wrong and I hope this is a good read.Â
