Hello! I've been considering going completely dairy free, but I'm not sure how to go about it.
I'm not going vegan, I want to only cut off things that are made from milk. There's not much advice online on that specifically, as most content targets either vegetarian diets or vegan diets. When I searched for recipes online, most of the ones suggested by Google or YouTube are rather fancy, and I simply don't have the money to make elaborate dishes every day. Do you know any simple go-to recipes that you like?
Also, I wanted to ask about some alternatives or swaps, because I LOVE the taste of milk and cheese and shakes and all that jazz, OMG. I'm most curious about butter swaps for bread, as online I've been recommended oil, but the person didn't mention what type of oil should it be, and I have only canola oil at home.
I'm also wondering if there are any other things to consider when dropping milk and such, as I assume it's going to impact my body in some way. Would I need to supplement something?
Thanks for reading!

Oh and there are a few plant-based butters if you really like the taste of butter on bread. Earth Balance is a good brand. You might find others that you like.
I always preferred jelly or jam anyway so it wasn't much of an issue for me LOL.
However, olive oil will have more flavor than canola oil though you could make garlic bread with either :)
Gotchu! I love myself some home-made strawberry jam too :3
Why didn't I think of that-

Hey! I know we chatted a lot over on my blog about this, but I just wanted to say this is awesome and you can do it :) Also regarding nutrition, I am not knowledgeable about health but B12 is an important vitamin for those who avoid animal-based food. It's should be very easy to find in grocery stores
Got it! Also, I don't mind talking about things in detail. I run for the title of the most talkative person on this site recently, hehe.
