in honor of my profile reaching 1000 views ive looked at the stats and yeah the amount of people actually using this website is rough
i have 117 friends, so about 1 in 10 people who see my profile decide to friend me (ive only turned down maybe 10 requests)
117 is a lot of people, like imagine talking to 117 people regularly. i thought it'd be a lot but nope, because most of those people just dont do anything social on here (even tho its a SOCIAL media....)
rn in my bulletins page i have 33 bulletins that arent from me, so assuming that everyones expire dates are on 10 days, thats 33 bulletins in 10 days. these bulletins are being posted by 11 of my friends, so abt 1/12 of my friends list has posted in 10 days. 18 of the bulletins in the list are by 2 of my friends too, so thats 2 people posting half of the bulletins.
i dont rlly have any conclusions here... ts just pmo </333

no but fr, i joined yesterday and one of the first things that i noticed was that ppl aren't super social for this being a social media. It's more of people just shouting out into the void without any actual interaction, it's rather odd imo.
yeah it rlly takes a while to get a couple of friends that actually post and take the time to reply to ur bulletins and stuff. definitely worth it imo bc i love my little circle but wtf are the other 100 people doing that just never post
they could all be in my circle too if they just posted

It's really cool that people can post about pretty much anything without people barking down on them, but it's a little disheartening to get 0 kudos 0 comments under a post, not gonna lie. TwT

Yeah, I don't really post things either. I don't have anything to say most of the time, but I will flood DMs of anyone who responds with more than a single message. I've noticed that the most people I have in friends (which is a humble 18) prefer to chat rather than create content.
damn rlly?? tbh i didnt think ppl used this for DMs that much since discord is so much better for that. i personally am hesitant to dm people bc my adhd kills any hopes for frequent talks loll but maybe ill start just messaging ppl and seeing what happens

Yeah, I've had really long chats with people on this site, but you need to be prepared for sometimes long response times if you don't catch them online. It's normal, they're likely not ghosting you, they just live a life and will get back to you in a day or two.
