I just went to the hospital and it all went like this.
First I woke up and it was really cold in my room and basically in the house, as if someone had opened the front door in winter and it had totally cooled the whole house down to the point of frost, although it was +11 degrees outside. And while I was getting ready for the hospital, I thought I would put on my comfortable and warm blue hoodie, just like my orientation, but I still decided to dress a little more formally and dressed up in a checkered red flannel shirt. But as soon as I left my bear den/doghouse, called my personal room, my grandmother told me to put on a jacket. And by that she meant a denim jacket... AND I ALREADY HATE IT WITH ALL MY SOUL, since its texture is not pleasant for me to wear over a shirt, plus it seems like it doesn't really suit me right now. in the end, I mentally quarreled with myself and decided that I would still go in it, since I did not want to incur worldwide indignation and the cries of disgruntled people for refusing to let an elderly lady wear something that was unsightly to me.
in the end, I went out into the street in all this... and I immediately turned into an icicle from the cold that I felt. this jacket was practically useless for maintaining heat in my body, although it did keep it from getting on my skin a little. in the end, I went where I needed to in the hospital with my mother (she apparently told my grandmother to wear it)... I can't wait for it to no longer be my size and for me to be able to calmly throw it away.
so the question arises, what's wrong with a comfortable flannel shirt or hoodie, rather than a denim jacket for going to the hospital during a cold summer.
