is it just me who finds the sephora kids rlly sad?

(b4 i start this i wanna apologize for any grammar mistakes i make im 2 lazy to write properly btw this is gonna b really short)

also this is a rant so idk say what u want

like 2 elaborate, i saw a post earlier abt how ppl bash kids for being kids and it got me thinking abt the sephora kids or kids who want boyfriends/ girlfriends/ partners at like a VERY young age and it honestly makes me feel bad for those kids

like i may not know their situation but i still feel bad for them because i had to grow up fast and im only 13

and atp/imo its getting worse with all the ppl getting pissy about how people are being ‘weird’ and calling them things like ‘cringe’ or ‘acoustic/autistic’ and it’s just fucked up like what happened to everyone’s joy and whimsy?? what happened to people minding their own business?? why do we as a society feel the need to put others down??

in my opinion, we should let kids be kids as in letting them explore all kinds of wonders the world has to offer while obviously not forcing/encouraging them to grow up fast

most of these sephora kids are usually overlooked by their parents as a ''it's just a phase, they'll get over it'' moment, but the problem also lies in the fact that those parents give their children too much free reign on social media, possibly making them more insecure cuz they don't have this certain skincare product or this new clothing item and it's like ...

b4 this sephora kid thing emerged, i have NEVER seen kids being sad cuz they don't have anti-aging retinoids in their possession ?? it genuinely makes me sad to see girls as young as 7 take part in this overconsumerist thing just to make them feel less insecure .
