How to train your dragon

Alright so I just watched the How To Train Your Dragon live-aqction movie, and I need to talk about it real quick.

Not going to lie, I went in with zero expectations. 

Live-ction movies have been seriously flopping lately - like have you seen the drama around that new Snow White remake?? Total disaster. And don't even get me started on a few other ones that felt like AI wrote them. So yeah, I was fully prepared to cringe.

But this one? Actually kind of slapped.

They didn't try to modernize it in a weird way or turn it into something it's not. It still felt like the How To Train Your Dragon we all grew up with - just more real.Hiccup was awkward and smart and easy to root for, and Toothless... bro, Toothless looked SO adorable. It's crazy how they made a CGI dragon have more personality than half the characters in other live-action movies.

Also, I gotta mention Hippo still had that underdog energy, but with more depth. And okay, he was lowkey handsome. I was not expecting to be like ''wait.... why is Hiccup kinda fine??' halfway through the movie, but here we are.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Really good movie, I do recommend it.
