Good morning!
Right now for me it's 6:15. I've been up since I think 4:45 because I had to pee, and then my 4:50 alarm went off, so I suppose I actually woke up on time accidentally. In the book I'm reading, I forget the name of it but it was a birthday gift and I'm trying to read more, but it said the way to unlock your creativity is to write about nothing and everything, three pages a day in a journal, right as you roll out of bed in the morning.
Clearly whoever wrote that book is just the tiniest bit presumptuous, because how in the hell are early-morning-commuters (such as myself) with morning routines supposed to do that? So I figured, once I'm finished with my routines, going to the bathroom, brushing my teeth, getting dressed and eating my breakfast meal prep, (although maybe i should switch some order of things, trial and error folks), whatever time I have left will be used to write my thoughts down on here. The order of things just makes sense to me. I've read somewhere that blue light keeps you awake, so you shouldn't be on devices an hour or so before you go to bed, so I figured I'd use that to my advantage. Computer wake up juice!
So far, my first day of doing it is very nice. I feel very awake and ready to tackle the day.
In other news, I got my computer speakers yesterday! Its so nice being able to do things on my computer without having to wear headphones the whole time. My family is very interactive and on top of me quite a lot, so its easier to keep an ear out for when they want me when I don't have my head stuck in a device and there for completely cut off from them.
As an added bonus, now I can listen to music while I do chores in my room cord-free now! I haven't had a chance to fully experience it yet, but later today when I get home, hopefully I'll have the energy to fold my laundry and experience the joys yesterdays purchase. They aren't the most professional high-quality speakers, but I'd say in my professional opinion, they aren't bad for twenty or so dollars. If anything, I sort of like that the quality is a little cheap. Adds to the old-internet aesthetic I'm chasing. Thats another reason I really like this place so far, actually. I was on here this morning reading blog posts that I specifically chose to read, and I found myself completely avoiding the endless scroll that usually takes hold in the mornings. Instead I read a couple of posts, and then actually got everything done that I needed to do. I'm not even going to forget my badge this morning, so yay!
Now all I have to do is wait for my dad to get ready to go, and we'll be out of here.
Speaking of which, I should probably wrap this up for now and get going. This was so much more fun than doomscrolling.
See ya later ^w^
