Girls getting rejected

Would any girls like to talk about their stories of asking out a boy and then getting rejected and how it felt? 

For guys rejection taugh to okay and that we should respect it when it comes and learn to handle it better. However the girls I know FEAR rejection really bad and I just thought it'd be cool for the girls to share their experiences to maybe show it's not so bad?
