I'd reccomend getting into Godot or Construct 3, they are both pretty simple game makers and i'm sure you'd be able to do something on them!

I recommend testing put some stuff on unity to get an idea of how games work then move from there!

You can just create a new project and put stuff around

Best way to get used to an engine is to do silly stuff with it first so I recommend making a skibbi toilet platformer first :D
