I Don't Think Eternal Sugar Has BPD

I keep seeing posts and people saying that Eternal Sugar Cookie has BPD but i don't think so

ok, so let's list the symptoms

Intense fear of abandonment

A pattern of unstable relationships/Splitting

Unstable sense of self

Paranoid Ideation

Impulsive Behavior

Ultimatums/threats

Self damaging behavior

Feelings of emptiness

Emotional outbursts

Strong mood swings

First of all- yes, eternal sugar may display some heavy symptoms of her having an intense fear of abandonment with the way she acts with hollyberry, i can agree with that. Her repeated "don't leave" and her overwhelming care and isolation she treats the people of her garden are already signs of her fear of abandonment.

Eternal Sugar's use of threats/manipulation to let people stay is... alright.  she does try to use some manipulation to have hollyberry to stay with her.

Paranoid ideation is arguable, personally Eternal Sugar would worry about Hollyberry however does show confidence that Hollyberry WILL come back. If Hollyberry stayed, she would not show any sign of worry that she will leave because her trust is quickly gained if one chooses to stay.

Eternal sugar does not have an unstable sense of self, given the information we have. There is nowhere in the story where it shows symptoms of it.

Impulsive behavior is arguable, we haven't seen much of her personality to set a conclusion to this, but gathering some implications and bits of her personality here and there she would not engage in impulsive actions, if we also include the dialogue with smc as an example?

Eternal Sugar has not been presented to do self damaging behavior, nor is it in her character to do somthing like that. Eternal sugar can be a fan of sugarcoating things, and relies on sleep as like her comfort

Eternal Sugar hasn't been presented with feelings of emptiness either in the story at all.

Eternal Sugar's outbursts only occur when someone is making a genuine decision to leave her garden, shown when Hollyberry makes multiple attempts and is clear that she wants to leave. Typically, outbursts would happen more than that in people with BPD, especially when people split.

Speaking of splitting: Eternal Sugar does not split. Sure, we can take her outbursts as an "example", but splitting typically occurs when something small sets off an alarm in the person with BPD and takes it as an "implication" that someone will leave. Eternal sugar does not exactly freak out at small implications or misunderstandings, instead denying it. She seems to have trust in the people residing in her garden, and doesn't need constant reassurance and validation. She is satisfied as long as they stay.

Plus, Eternal Sugar does not go from viewing someone as perfect and flawless to a monster/ghost. In fact, she seems to be obsessed with Hollyberry, NEVER hating her. The outbursts she gave were only activated when there was clear statements and scenes where Hollyberry wanted to leave, and they were out of fear, not hatred.
