getting into gnosticism

i've heard abt gnosticism cus of an ARG and recently wanted to get into it cus it just looks soooo interesting bjt then it's lowkey difficult cus ppl say oh the demiurge is not evil or the demiurge is evil and trapping us in the material workd it's so ahhh!!!!! (inconsistencies and conflicting stuff idk)

and im dumb as hell JSJSJSJ maybe ill keep rereading basic stuff until im bored
