living like its the 2000s - day 1-3 updates

so basically it has been super successful for the first two days but i found myself crawling back to my phone again.

things that helped quite a lot:

-listening to the radio on transport/while taking a walk! this is working out pretty well, its helping me discover songs ive never listened to, which is pretty fun. bbc radio six is free!

-trying to go out a lot more. going out automatically equals less screen time. i got 20k steps yesterday cuz i went on a little trip.

-not checking my phone in the morning as long as possible

things that have NOT worked out:

-origami, which ive failed after two attempts

-trying NOT to doomscroll before falling asleep. i need my daily slop content updates :(

-yoga, i got too lazy

-doing my hw. it seems like being offline doesnt really help improve motivation


i also touched a roly-poly with my bare hands for the first time in a decade i think
