Astroworld Chaos😬

Okay sooo… I just watched that new Netflix doc about the Astroworld tragedy and . . . I don’t even know where to start. Like, I knew it was bad but I didn’t know it was THAT bad. 

“Ten” people DIED and hundreds were injured. At a CONCERT. Like?? A place that’s supposed to be fun and loud and full of energy and it turned into a literal nightmare. 

And yeah, I’ve never been a Travis fan, but watching that documentary just made me realize how reckless everything was. Way too many people, barely any security and literally no one knew how to handle it once things started getting dangerous. People were screaming for help, climbing on camera towers, trying to get the show to stop and it just,, kept going. 😐

The doc was Lowkey Heartbreaking.

what hit me the most was hearing from people who were there. Like, this one guy who lost his best friend, another girl was crying while talking about trying to breathe and getting trampled. It wasn’t just clips and headlines, it was actual people who thought they were going to die. It made me so mad that the organisers just acted like it was some random accident. It wasn’t. They ignored warning signs from the start.

Let’s be real. This was NOT just “bad luck” 

It was poor planning, greedy companies, and too many people caring more about vibes than lives. 

Concerts aren’t supposed to feel like survival games. And yeah, maybe Travis didn’t see everything happening in the crowd, but c’mon. People were chanting ‘Stop the show’ and it was like nothing mattered except finishing the set.

FINAL THOUGHTS.

This whole thing made me rethink going to big festivals. Like, am I gonna go just to end up trapped in a crowd where no one cares if I’m okay?? idk. All I’m saying is, concerts should be safe. 

So yeah, if you haven’t watched the doc yet - do it. Especially if you go to festivals. It’s not just about blaming people, it’s about learning from it and making sure something like that NEVER happens again.
