Recently I've been getting into making music myself. I had an idea of going around on SpaceHey DMing random music artists and asking them questions (mentioned below) but it feel a bit too much so I'm js gonna post this blog that I'll also post in forums and whoever whatever music artist, person who makes music, Deejay, person who knows how to make music, band members ect, regardless of their experience, wants to help out or give a suggestion, can comment on this...
Basically, the main questions i have are:
⋆ If you use a platform/app to compose tracks, what is the (full) name of that, and if you have any other than that one to suggest do so...?
⋆ where on do you publish your music and do you get paid off of that platform?
⋆ Is it difficult to make the music?
⋆ Do you ever use online samples in your tracks? And if you do, do you have any websites to suggest?
⋆ Do you do it for fun, as a profession, or both?
⋆ What are some things i should know before starting?
⋆ And ofc anything else you could and want to suggest!

Okay, so background info. I've been writing music for around 4 years, playing flute for 3, I'm learning how to play acoustic guitar, and I own an electric guitar that I can't play yet!!

I don't

I haven't published any of my music yet unfortunately
⋆ Is it difficult to make the music?
No, it just comes to me in random moments. Sometimes when I'm listening to music, sometimes when I'm talking to my friends, when I'm looking at my messy ass bedroom, etc.

No
⋆ Do you do it for fun, as a profession, or both?
Fun, but I plan for it to be my profession in the future

If you don't like your songs, keep writing new songs. You'll get better over time and you can go back and rewrite the bad ones. Don't force yourself to sing out of range. And don't try to hard on a song.

Make music you would wanna listen to and have fun!! Art isn't worth making if you're not enjoying it!! <3
Thank you!
