I came to SpaceHey just to get away from other social media like Instagram and TikTok—they were making me feel bad and anxious. At least, I don't feel stressed anymore. Being here make mefeel excited and nostalgic.

I hate tiktok and instagram

I came here looking for something that reminded me of myspace and stayed because i like customizing my profile. I don't even talk to anyone on here.

omg I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!!!
At first I came because I thought customizing a profile would be cool and fun, I never really planned making friends here because I don't make any online anymore.
Then I started exploring the site a bit more, read blogs and make some (which became more fun when I found out you could customize them too), I interacted with some people in the forum, the groups and bulletins and I thought it was nice that I could talk about something anytime and I'd get an answer almost always!!
Rn I have sooo much fun writting blogs, there's so many things I want to share and this community though small, is very nice and cool to be around :33
I've been here fo like 10 months and I'm staying because of that and because it makes me more comfortable and entertains me more than being 24/7 on Tiktok or Twitter.
I spend hours editing layouts so that's also a reason

I found it from a random Pinterest thing that linked to a blog here, and I really liked the 2000’s vibe— plus, it just felt better than mindless social media. So I signed up, and it is honestly so much better than anything like TikTok lol (even tho I’ve never had it, I generally have issues with being addicted to short form content lmao) It honestly is just great to post about random stuff and meet new people! I find people with common interests way more easily this way, too. So that’s why I’m here and have stuck around for about a month now, and probably will stay for at least a few years (maybe longer!)
That's nice! Btw, talking about Tiktok, do you ever feel It's gettin real toxic? I be scrollin through the comments and it’s just people saying awful things or bullying each other for no reason and idk why.

I feel like it is, I've never used TikTok but I watch a lot of video essays and stuff on youtube about drama and stuff on there and there seems to be something new every week so I think it is. Of course, with every platform and fanbase, there's a positive and negative side, but TikTok seems to have a prevalent negative side more than anything else ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
