Everytime I scroll on social media or watch YOUTUBE there'll always be a video or comments talking about how people trying to get into a culture are "posers" for simply trying out a style and maybe even learning about it.
I wish more people were out there to instead give new folks tips and tricks on how scene kids would do it back in the day-- This doesn't only apply to scene though; punk, goth, etc.
It feels more like gatekeeping than it does a culture. But let me know your opinions and how you feel about it! I always love seeing diverse thoughts >>

If someone does something you don't like and you don't want to watch or listen dont, others can make that choice for themselves.

Same!! Things have most definitely changed since the 2000's but I feel like acceptance is such an important part of the community
