omori is a bad reskin of undertale

I'm an hour to this game and I can tell a few things:

1 it's trying WAY too hard to be deep "just a swing" "just a pole" "just a bird" OMFG THAT'S LIKE ONE OF THOSE POEMS LIKE

2 inspiration be inspirating, why is it literally a reskin of undertale??? no i don't mean that any pixel game is undertale but the water bridge sequence is an EXACT reskin of the undertale map where you run away from undyne. 

3 The fact that the screen is tiny is used soooo bad. As someone with digital eye strain, yes that's a real illness, it gives me a migraine just to look at that game, and it's used SO badly too, like the idea was that it's tiny and when it's a jumpscare it pops out full screen, no? I was expecting that, but all the "jumpscares" are still happening in the tiny format.

4 the character of basil is so obviously asriel coded, except asriel is sufferable, and basil is UNSUFFERABLE OMFG THE SONG F4GGOT BY MSI SHOULD BE DEDICATED TO HIM THEY'RE TRYING TO MAKE HIM SO DEEP BUT I JUST CAN TELL THAT IT'LL BE SOMETHING LIKE "mari peed in his cereal and now he's sadge ueeee das so deep *kalimba playing in the background*" OMFGHDSFHDFVBA

5 the game is so slow and feels so much like a chore I actually jumped when the jumpscares started popping up instead of being scared bc i was like "YEAAAA THIS GAME IS GETTING GOOD!" and then it got bad again
