I don't get all the hate for fallout tactics BoS, i just started playing it and its really fun ngl, and also fallout 76, i heard it was shit at release but probably it was just unfinished at the time because they didn't want fans waiting, fallout new Vegas IS amazing but its always the fallout new Vegas (and fallout 3 fans but i have no reason to say anything bc i haven't played fallout 3) dick slobbers or just anti j*bmaxxing fallout fans, but I'm gonna be honest fallout tactics and older fallout games are just so shit because of the ap, shit like "you need more action point to open your inventory" just fucking sets me off, or that it just takes so long for my characters to shoot, there's so many flaws in the game but its pretty solid,
what fallout game did you start out on,?? for me it was fallout 4
i got into the game bc of a TikTok clip of Billy the kid in the refridge
lowkey i thought fallout was a nerdy game loloklololololo

The classic Fallout games were more complex at the time compared to the newer titles, it was more about actually strategising and having to work around the character and stats you have built hence roleplaying game, but the way to beat the AP problem easily is to just have high agility. Tactics was built off the framework for Ghost recon and Baldurs gate at the time where you play as not only one person but you have to play as a team. Its more just that new audiences feel more comfortable with the new more simpler FPS game system now than what was used back then to where if you played it after playing 3 or 4 then it would be a massive downgrade. When it comes to Brotherhood of steel games though, I think for Tactics it was average at release and the other is that it was complex. Then you also have that Playstation game that we do not talk about, but its just new audiences. I think for Fallout 76 it was released too early or it was some excuse about making the game more realistic and empty. But then they did make up for it and added some stuff in and it seems tame nowadays. Fallout has a weird history
