Hey guys! Was wondering if anyone had some insight in what the Spacehey "block" does, since it tends to be slightly different in every social media
From personal experience, I know that if you block someone they won't be able to view your profile, and you theirs. And I also know that it will prevent both users from sending a IM to the other.
But would they be able to see your blog posts from the "blog" page? The page to block someone (i'm putting the picture as a link because the pictures have been broken for days) says that they won't be able to comment on them. Which makes me think they'll still be able to read them, just unable to comment.
And what about comments on other people's blogs and bulletins? Would a blocked person be able to see someone's comments under someone else's post, and reply to them? If I blocked someone, and we had a mutual friend, and they commented under their bulletin or under their blog, would I see their comment?
I'm wondering because I have some users blocked, and I don't know just how much blocking them has done. The page to block someone is not as specific as I would like it to be, and I could not find any info online. So if anyone has any experience and can tell me more it'd be great!

also i noticed that if you block a friend on spacehey they still remain in your friend list, so remove them before blocking them. same for friend requests, if you block someone before denying their request they will still remain in your requests list. deny their request and block them after

if you have a user blocked, you won't see their blogs or their comments on other bulletins/blogs. they can reply to you on other peoples blogs/bulletins (you wont see it though), but they cant comment on your stuff
if a user blocks you, you can see their blogs and comments but you cant comment on their blogs. you can reply to their comments on other blogs/bulletins but they wont see it
oh and yeah if you block someone you cant see their profile and they cant see yours

Good question and I’m not entirely sure either, so ig I’ll be following this one!
All I know, is that I blocked a person (they were a minor) who at the same time, tried to add me. So, now I have a ghost request all the time

if you remember the user you can unblock, decline the request, and block again
