The Blind Leading The Blind

If you're not yet aware of your truth, and if you don't have a clear goal, be cautious of people who try to live through you. In today’s fast-paced world, we often look up to those who seem mature simply because they’ve managed to make a living. But if we truly listen to what some of these people say, we’ll notice they often contradict themselves.

At some point, the adults we listened to, or still listen to, had, or continue to have, a major influence on how we see the economy, society, and the world at large. But they, too, were once influenced by others they trusted completely. You see, sometimes we’re not even given the space to explore what we genuinely like. Instead, we’re encouraged to follow a path that seems “safe” or ideal just because it’s what someone else would’ve chosen if they were in our shoes.

That might not sound too bad, until one day, you wake up at their age and realize you’re unhappy. You followed advice from someone who never truly knew you, who didn’t see what was happening inside of you. You ignored your intuition, those quiet cries from your soul. And now, you’re stuck in something that doesn’t feel right, and you can’t figure out why.

So please, for your own sake, take the time to find out what the younger version of you truly wanted. Honor that voice, no matter if the path it points to is well-paid or not, no matter who approves or doesn’t. Do it for you. Fitting in is never worth losing yourself. Yes, the journey to fulfillment can be lonely at times, but the sweetness of that fulfillment makes it all worthwhile.

Trust yourself. And trust the process.

All advice people give you... even in a best case... is based on the past until the present.

The problem is it doesnt take into account future changes.

What has worked out for people 10-20 years ago doesnt mean that it would work again into the future.
So take everything with a massive grain of salt... try to get multiple opinions from very different people.

And in the end go with your gut feeling.
Even if the choice you make sucks in the end... its less bitter if you fuck up your life yourself than if you let yourself be talked yourself into something you dont feel...

If that doesnt work out you get more sad because you always think
"if i would have go with my gut feeling then life wouldnt suck so much"

This is quite insightful and well said. Hearing the call to follow our inner voice is difficult in a world with ever present media fighting for our attention. It requires prolonged time of quiet and meditation to tune in to our own channel. I hope you'll continue to trust yourself, as will I! ✨
