analyzing all of holy quinlet(short)

Madoka is your steretrpical magical girl show character: perfect life, wanting to save people etc. But what makes her diffrent is the fact that she didn't became a magical girl. She questioned everything and anything to full extend after Mami's death.

Homura is empodiment of evil if Madoka is empodiment of good. She genienly wanted to be Madoka, in all means. This all means made her selfish. She doesn't only care about Madoka, but whatever it'll take to leave the maze. Her transformation in Rebellion is a accurate represition of that.

Mami is lonely. Like extra lonely. Her character development revolves around her and her guilt for not saving a child. Mami wants to be a hero so badly she trained insanely hard before the main pmmm series.

Kyoko is selfish, because to be a hero you need to be selfish. All non-selfish attempts to become a hero will only be used, and Kyoko is aware of that.

Sayaka is stereotypical teenager: crushes, emotions and despair. We all wanted to be heroes and tried to be only to fail and end in despair just like Sayaka.
