It was made in 1998 and was named after the Jewish circumcision practice, bris milah. Aurelio Voltaire is an artist from New Jersey who thrives in the dark cabaret genre, and is a leading figure in said genre, but his music can also be described as folk depending on the album. 　　 ㅤ۶ৎ
