How do I become emo when I'm from Serbia??

Ive been liking the emo style and started listening to the music months ago and i’ll just give the music i listen too if that helps! ^^

I'm also from Serbia and had a emo phase a few years ago (more of a punk or metalhead now tbh)!! I don't really have any music to recommend (since the other people already did that) but I'll just tell you: don't pay attention to anyone that might bully you. I've been bullied for basically my entire life just because I was "different" and really the best thing to do is just ignore the bullies and be yourself.

As for clothes, when I was emo I still had really long and curly hair, but what I did was wear darker colors, (skinny) jeans, graphic tees etc. I'm not sure which shops I could recommend you since a lot of the stuff I wore during that phase were hand-me-downs from my mom and/or aunt. Or just stuff that I got as gifts (I didn't really buy my own clothes back then so I kinda have no clue where they were from)

If you're not allowed to cut your hair short, maybe just try a layered long-medium length haircut with bangs?? If you're not allowed to do that either then... I'm out of ideas :(

I'm sure you can find a way to "be more emo" (I don't know how to phrase that better) and express yourself truthfully.

im not full blown emo; i don't dress in the fashion at all so i dont have much to offer, but these r def some of my fave emo/metalcore bands i recommend !:
escape the fate
pierce the veil
bullet for my valentine (metalcore)

my chemical romance
a day to remember (metalcore)
falling in reverse

sleeping with sirens
evanescene (not emo but is popular in the community)

be sure to stay clear of controversial bands like mindless self indulgence and lostprophets and stuff, cause being emo isn't just fashion or music taste, but it's also beliefs and values. hope this helps !

Well lucky for u, emo is not just fashion based, it's mainly music based but if u are looking for songs/bands I have recommendations
Bands:

Sleeping with Sirens My Chemical Romance
Ghost Town
Falling in Reverse

And on physical looks, you could get skinny jeans, black ones are usually good(If available) and you can try and obtain band tees, and if ur able, try and get eyeliner, trust it really pulls it together. Now I don't know about if she'd let you dye your hair black but even then you could still pull it off with long brown hair (Trust)

And for my final saying just be yourself, as corny as it sounds, you have to embrace who you truly are, no matter how "cringe" or "weird" it may be, it's more cringe to worry about how someone else looks, remember that, they're dumb :)
