Why does everbody hate on skyler white in breaking bad???

No seriously can someone please explain why Skyler White gets so much hate? Because I just don’t get it. I’m only on season 4 right now, so maybe there's stuff later I don’t know yet but from what I’ve seen so far I’m 1000% on her side bitch

Walter is literally the ACTUAL problem here. He disappears for DAYS without explanation, lies constantly, hides money, makes phone calls at 2 AM, and then acts like SHE is the one being unreasonable?? Bro your wife is pregnant. You're supposed to be a family man, not a damn meth cook.

And when Skyler starts noticing that something is very wrong (because she's smart btw)he just keeps stonewalling her. Like he’s some tragic genius who deserves space to “figure things out.” What even?? She’s literally trying to protect her family while he’s out here making deals with literal murderers.

Also, people always bring up that she “cheated” with Ted beneke but HELLO?? They were literally separated. She kicked Walt out, he had his own apartment and she even filed for divorce. It’s not like she just randomly cheated one night for fun dude. And after everything Walt did can you really blame her for wanting someone to treat her like a human being again?

And let’s not forget: Walter missed the birth of his own daughter. Like completely. That’s not just a red flag that’s a whole red fucking billboard lol.

Skyler is married to someone she doesn’t recognize anymore, someone who’s dangerous and unpredictable and hiding more than he’s sharing. And even then, she still tries to do the right thing. She launders the money to protect her family. She puts up with Saul Goodman and his creepy vibes. She even keeps Walt's secrets, not for him, but for the kids. she’s literally doing everything she can to keep this whole collapsing house from falling on her children.

But people still act like she’s the villain?? Just because she isn’t smiling and playing the supportive wife while her husband cooks meth and slowly becomes a monster?

Honestly, I think people just hate her because she stands up to Walter. She challenges him. She refuses to play along with his fantasy. She’s not perfect no one in this show is but she’s one of the only people actually trying to do the right thing in the middle of all this chaos.

So yeah i’m Team Skyler. Fuck off
