The differences of Chelicerata, Crustacea, Hexapoda, and Myriapoda

Chelicerata, Crustacea, and Hexapoda, Myriapoda are the four main subphyla of arthropods

Chelicerata-Includes things like spider's scorpion's mites and horseshoe crabs they are defines by segmented bodies, jointed legs, covered in a cuticle of protein and chitin, heads composed of seven segments, a reduced coelom, a hemocoel, their bodies have either a cephalothorax or a prosoma, and an abdomen or opisthosoma they have no antennas and the subphylum gets its name from their first feeding structure the chelicerae 

Crustacea-Mostly aquatic includes things like lobsters, crabs, woodlice, and barnacles they have a chitinous or a calcareous exoskeleton and pair of usually modified appendages on each segment and two pairs of antennas 

Hexapoda-the most diverse subphylum and largest clade it includes the crown group insecta they have a three-segment body, six segmented head and antennas, and the most defining three pairs of legs

Myriapoda-Includes millipedes and centipedes they have elongated bodies made up of numerous segments divides into two sections head and trunk each one having a pair of legs, a single pair of antennas and a usually have simple eyes, their exclusively terrestrial, and they undergo a process called anamorphosis where every successful molt they get new segments added
