I have never felt so nervous

Yesterday I found the strength to apply for admission to the chemistry/biology section at the Academy of Sciences in my city. The woman who gave me the application to fill out said several times, "Just be serious about the project you're going to do." I'm sure of that, but whether I can do the project in 4-5 months with almost no lab experience (I hope to get it in the new academic year) and then defend it is another question.

I am also currently studying for a college chemistry exam, after which I will have to do a team project on diabetes by the end of August.

I just really don't want anyone to be disappointed in me.
