so as a quick intro real quick because i don't post here often HI!!! i'm retrokidcody!! i like skeuomorphism. i REALLY like skeuomorphism... (reference!!!) but im also super silly!!
OKAY GETTING DISTRACTED HERE! MAIN THING IS: DON'T take my word as the absolute truth but i think skeuomorphism might slowly be returning to the world thank you!!!
i know it's not much yet but apple's liquid glass is sorta close to skeuo, like its the first steps in the direction of it!!
yeah like obviously we aren't quite there yet which sucks, but when we do? consider me happy because i will be!!
also people have really been wanting to see skeuomorphism come back since like 2021 so i think Big Tech(tm) has finally started to catch on that we want this back!! (might just be coping but i hope not)
honestly this feels like a dream SOMEONE PINCH M-

i have a feeling with "frutigo aero" becoming popular as an aesthetic, and with the new apple update, we will slowly return to the old style of phone apps and such. Like fashion trends, everything comes back around eventually and honestly i'm so here for it.
Especially cause those styles were popular when I was a kid (before I gained full adult person consciousness) and I didn't get to appreciate them.
