I think a lot of people are not taking this situation seriously and over-dramatizing it for attention to be honest. The world has been in a horrible state for a long time, it's just become more evident to people in first world countries after Israel's attack on Palestine became more widely known. We've directly seen the US and the UK [solely] stand against the rest of the world in support of Israel, and that alone should've been enough to concern people but it didn't; they're only acting afraid now because Iran is one of those countries that constantly has propaganda pushed against it. I guarantee 90% of those people are talking about Iran v Israel and not Pakistan v India too solely because these are predominantly brown countries having conflict, rather than having conflict against a western country, despite the human lives lost. The IDF and Israel official accounts have been doing the exact same thing for years now with little to no reaction. The majority of people making jokes are in no way in harms way. It's really ridiculous to see people who are likely to never be affected by conflict, fearmonger in the faces of people about to or already suffering due to it.
no because you’re actually saying the truth and people don’t wanna hear it because it’s easier to joke and act scared when it’s not happening to them like people are only freaking out now because it’s Iran and they’ve been brainwashed into thinking Iran is some monster state but when it was Palestine getting bombed nobody cared and when the US and UK stood alone supporting Israel against literally the rest of the world everyone just scrolled like nothing was happening and now suddenly everyone’s scared of WW3 when war has been reality for so many people for years and the same people who are joking about being drafted or talking about war like it’s a joke are the ones who will never see it or live it and that’s the wildest part and also no one’s talking about India and Pakistan even though they literally have nukes too just because there’s no western country involved and people don’t care unless it affects them or they’re told to care through media and honestly it’s not even funny anymore it’s just loud privileged fear in the face of real pain and if you actually paid attention to what’s been happening not just recently but for decades you’d know this isn’t new it’s just finally being seen by people who always had the privilege to ignore it

I honestly don't think we R becuz a lot of countries have nuclear weapons & if we launch one @ another country then they will just launch theirs @ our country & then both of our countries will die(Learned this in US History class) which makes it really dumb 2 go in2 WW3
no literally you’re so right. like it’s giving mutual destruction for what?? nobody’s winning if nukes get involved. they launch one, we launch one, and boom — everyone’s gone. it’s not even war at that point, it’s just collective self-destruction.
that’s why ww3 lowkey can’t happen the way ww1 or ww2 did. everyone’s too scared of pressing the wrong button. it’s like the world’s on edge but also too aware of the consequences to go full chaos mode.
so yeah, i feel like we’re more in a “cold war but make it 2025” era — all threats, drama, and memes... but no one actually wants to die.
