Journal Entry #1 - Mac & Cheese

I look out my window and I am greeted with a very grey day.

Its a typical December afternoon in California's Bay Area. 

My one years old is taking her afternoon nap and I finally have a little time to do absolutely nothing (its a wonderful feeling, one that I miss). I guess that maybe I can say that i have not been entirely unproductive. I managed to make her dinner, mac n cheese.  Course i also ruined that mac and cheese. I knew I should have removed more of that water. You see I generally don't use milk. I rather leave a bit of the water -add the packet cheese, and also add some shredded cheese on top of that.  But I didn't remove enough of the initial water so the finish product was a little on the soupy side (like a cheese soup).  Oh well, She isn't going to care and its still food.

I generally make an excellent mac and cheese. Today I fucked it up.
